Responsibilities: Works under the supervision of the Director of Home Care or Hospice and registered nursing staff by assisting in the care of patients by bathing, dressing, feeding, transporting, and providing for the basic needs of the patient in the home environment. Assists caregivers in other home duties as requested within the scope of the job duties. Provides assistance in a supportive manner to caregivers as they are in the learning process of caring for the patient at home. Monitors vital signs and other patient activities, reports changes to the registered nurse. Functions at a level to maintain a high quality of care.
