Chief Nursing Officer Knoxville Center for Behavioral Medicine - a comprehensive inpatient behavioral health facility. Our center will provide acute behavioral health care and outpatient treatment to adults and geriatric adults who are in crisis from severe symptoms related to behavioral health and/or substance use disorder. The CNO is responsible for the continuous safe operation of the assigned department(s), including all aspects of patient care, budgeting, staffing and quality assurance. The CNO provides the framework for the strategic goals of the department. Reports to CEO/Administrator. Qualifications: Minimum Education: Licensed Registered Nurse with either a master's degree, or actively pursing master's degree or equivalent experience in complete postitions Minimum Experience: 3 to 5 years’ experience in an acute care facility, including at least 2 years’ experience in the specialty area is required. Management experience is required. Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: Tennessee RN license required. BLS through the American Heart Association required within 2 (two) weeks of employment; mandatory certifications for relevant requirements within 12 months of employment. Position Highlights: Program Development: The duties of the CNO shall be in keeping with accepted principles of hospital standards. S/he must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, provide care utilizing the nursing process, and communicate effectively. The CNO shall organize the nursing functions of the Hospital, delegate duties and establish formal means of accountability on the part of subordinates, thereby providing high quality nursing care in meeting the patient’s emotional, psychological, social and health teaching needs. The CNO is responsible for the continuous safe operation of the department(s), following relevant established standards and guidelines. The CNO is accountable to the Administrator and Medical Director for providing a comprehensive, high-quality program of excellence, ensuring the patient achieves the best possible outcome. A Field Case Manager role is a field / home-based position with travel, up to 2 hours one-way (4 hours round trip), to doctors’ offices, hospitals, and various other locations. This individual is responsible for the medical case management of work-related injuries, which includes assessment, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of injured/disabled individuals. The Case Manager works with insurance carriers, medical care providers, attorneys, employers, and employees, and closely monitors the progress of the injured worker and reports results back to the employer and insurance carriers. Home Therapy Nurse PURPOSE AND SCOPE: The registered professional nurse Home Therapies RN CAP 1 is an entry level designation into the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP). This position is accountable and responsible for the provision and coordination of clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients. Assesses and manages patients’ response to home dialysis training and treatment therapy by following prescribed predetermined protocols and communicates patient related issues to the physician as needed.
