Job Profile Summary This role focuses on providing professional and nonprofessional nursing care services in accordance with physician orders. The Coordinator will be responsible for developing nursing staff through mentoring, coaching, and education. Job Description Minimum Qualifications: 1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). 2. Registered Nurse (RN) license. 3. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. 4. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. 5. Five (5) years of nursing experience with at least 1 year as a charge / lead nurse. 6. Certifications (i.e. ACLS, PALS) or additional state licensure relevant to the department and type of care being provided may be required. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Assesses and coordinates the flow of critical care patients to optimize resources. 13. Acts rapidly and competently, follows hospital policies and procedures in any emergency situation. 14. Ensures organizational policies, procedures, standards and practices are communicated and followed by staff. 15. Identifies and allocates resources according to budgetary expectations, benchmarking data, standards of nursing practice and ethical principles of care. Physical Requirements: 1. Occasional lifting of 30-35 lbs and turning patients. 2. Prolonged standing and walking. 3. Occasional twisting, bending, reaching, pushing/pulling, sitting, kneeling, and squatting. 4. Job Summary We are seeking a part-time, 25-hour Medical Assistant to join our Express Care team! Express Care, formally known as Urgent Care, offers timely treatment for non-emergency conditions. We care for adults and children ages 3 and up, addressing a wide range of issues such as respiratory illnesses, infections, minor injuries, rashes, and stomach problems. Because patients often visit when they’re feeling unwell, our team prioritizes compassion and emotional support alongside quality medical care. The schedule consists of working 2, 12.5-hour shifts per week (8:30am to 9:00pm), including every other weekend (both Saturday and Sunday). Since Express Care is a 7-day-per-week operation that delivers care during the day, evening, weekends, and holidays, the schedule for this role will require 2 on-call shifts per 4-week scheduling period, weekend, holiday coverage and the flexibility to work overtime as needed. The primary location for this role is 1285 Beacon Street Brookline. We do our best to keep all employees at their assigned centers; however, for on-call shifts, employees must be able to commute to any of our locations, including Brookline, Newton, Lynn, Natick, Westwood, and Woburn.
