About this Job: Unit Highlights The Discharge Hospitality Center (DHC) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) facilitates a safe, efficient, and patient-centered discharge process for patients awaiting departure from the hospital. A track for adults with concurrent chemical dependency provides brief crisis intervention with a physician until the patient can be transferred to a lower level of care. As a Staff Nurse you will: Perform a full range of professional psychiatric nursing services, including assessing, planning, administering, and evaluating patient care in accordance with team treatment plans. Provide day-to-day clinical direction to assigned Mental Health Workers or other paraprofessional staff. Document and report patient progress to treatment team.
