PeaceHealth at RiverBend is adding a Nurse Practitioner to join the Pre-Anesthesia Testing Clinic. RiverBend is a Level II Trauma center, the largest hospital between Portland, Oregon and Sacramento, California. Patient care and patient management for PAT (Pre-anesthesia Testing Clinic), collaborating with Anesthesiologists. Performs initial evaluation to determine if patient can continue or should be referred directly to a supervising Attending physician. Provides pre-procedure teaching, education, discharge instructions, and reviews consent form with patient. Performs or requests diagnostic studies as indicated upon patient evaluation and medications. Works closely with PAT, surgery scheduling, and clinic to provide timely elective procedures after new patient visits in the clinic, scheduling follow-up procedures, and clinic visits.
