Pre-Employment Requirements: We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required . Job Requirements: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) Minimum of one year of acute care or dialysis nursing experience preferred Knowledge of dialysis procedures, equipment, and infection control standards Ability to monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatments Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and documentation skills Ability to respond quickly to changes in patient condition Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and follow hospital policies BLS certification required; ACLS required within 6 months- 1 year of employment Weekly Call will be required to include off hours and Sundays. 
Overview Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Working knowledge of clinic procedures typically gained through education or on-the-job training Basic knowledge of electronic medical records Licensure/Certification/Registration: One of the following: Current Alabama LPN license Current Multi State LPN license in accordance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama* *Infirmary Health abides by the NLC requirements and guidelines for the state of Alabama BLS Desired Qualifications: Associate degree or equivalent Responsibilities Promotes quality and continuity of care by performing patient assessment and education, providing physician assistance, assisting in the coordination of procedures and providing effective communication to achieve IHS's standards of quality, efficiency and desired outcomes.
