Experience in clinical pediatrics is required; clinical experience in assigned area is preferred 2. Demonstrates positive interpersonal relationships which enhance communication, promote conflict resolution and facilitate staff development. 3. Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required. Epic software or similar EMR software is required. Education and Experience 1. Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing [BSN] is required; Master's degree [MSN] or another field (MBA, MPH, MHA, etc.) is preferred 2. Licensure: Currently licensed to practice nursing as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio is required. 3. Certification: Current Health Care Provider BLS training from the American Heart Association is required. o If assigned to general care units, PEARS is required. o If assigned to critical care units, PALS, ACLS, TNCC, and/or NRP is required. o If assigned to ED, Surgical Services, Sedation Services, Transitional Care/Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, and Transport, within 1 year of date of hire PALS, ACLS, TNCC, and/or NRP is required. o Relevant professional nursing certification, preferred. 4. Years of relevant experience: Minimum 4 years of nursing experience required. 5. Years of supervisory experience: 1 year in a leadership role or similar position preferred.
