Weekender Program – Salary and Schedule Overview Individuals hired for a Weekender position are required to work two (2) 12-hour shifts between 7:00 PM Friday and 7:00 AM Monday. In return for this commitment, Weekenders will be compensated at 1.5 times their regular hourly rate for these shifts. Individuals in Weekender roles qualify for full-time medical and dental benefits, whereas eligibility for all other benefits is at part-time levels. Nurse Practitioner Required Credentials Graduate of an accredited DNP or MSN Advanced Practice Registered Nurse program Current RN and APRN license in the state of Ohio Board Certification as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in specialty. Current BLS Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or obtains within first year of practice Meets the requirements/qualifications for medical staff clinical privileges in the specialty/department within MetroHealth Maintains a standard care arrangement with physicians and renews as required by the Ohio Board of Nursing Physician Assistant Required Credentials Graduate of an accredited Doctoral or MS Physician Assistant program. Current PA licensure in the State of Ohio. Board Certification as a Physician Assistant from NCCP Current BLS Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or obtains within first year of practice Meets the requirements/qualifications for medical staff clinical privileges in the specialty/department within MetroHealth Maintains a supervision agreement with physicians and renews as required by the Ohio Board of Medicine APPs at MetroHealth are afforded voting membership within the medical staff.
