Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results. Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans. Be comfortable and familiar with NCCN guidelines. Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies. Manage and follow patients receiving active chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and other systemic treatments. Conduct follow-up evaluations and monitor treatment effectiveness. Provide longitudinal follow-up and supportive care throughout the cancer journey. Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, symptom management, and survivorship. Collaborate with primary care providers, nurses, and allied health professionals. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
