The Operating Room Manager develops collaborative working relationships with hospital leadership, physicians, and staff, both internal and external to the department and to accomplish these responsibilities in an effective and efficient manner. The Operating Room Manager oversees and guides the staff to ensure the Department meets JCAHO standards and complies with corporate policy and procedures. The Operating Room Manager is also responsible for managing supplies and equipment in the department, for promoting teamwork with physicians and all health care providers, for promoting internal and external customer satisfaction and for appropriate resource management.
