The Home Hospital Registered Nurse is responsible for providing the essential elements of the inpatient care delivery model into the patient’s defined living space using leveraged technology and remote clinical care coordination. The Home Hospital RN provides quality care to patients through the implementation of the nursing process applied through a team nursing model. Position Summary: The RN Director of Nursing (DON), Resident is a leadership role designed to prepare an aspiring nurse leader for a future Director of Nursing role. Displays ability to see the entire unit and is self motivated to develop a plan for adjusting staffing patterns as needed. Attends educational sessions when offered in areas that will improve one's ability to assess the needs on one's respective department.
