The Critical Care Transport Nurse utilizes the nursing process in conjunction with evidence-based principles to provide safe and rapid transport of critically ill or injured patients by a mobile intensive care to a higher-level medical treatment facility. The Critical Care Transport Nurse provides advanced emergency/critical care during medical transport and may also provide nursing care for patients throughout Premier Health. This position also includes public relations and medical education functions.
