What You’ll Do: As a Caregiver with SYNERGY HomeCare of Central IL, you’ll provide one-on-one care and support to clients wherever they call home. This may be a private residence, apartment, assisted living community, or skilled nursing home. Unlike working in a facility, much of your time will be spent working independently with your assigned client. You’ll be trusted to manage responsibilities, follow the client's care plan, communicate concerns, and provide dependable, professional care throughout your shift. Qualifications and Skills To excel as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) , you will need: A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. A certificate documenting successful completion of a nurse aide training course approved by the Illinois Board of Educators or equivalent qualification as defined by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation. Active listing or eligibility to be listed on the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation CNA registry. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to handle emotionally and physically demanding situations with professionalism. Competence in using technical equipment and learning new materials efficiently.
