GYN Oncology Advanced Practice Provider

Position Summary The GYN ONC Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works under the clinical supervision of the GYN Oncologists . Maintains up to date knowledge of policies and procedures of Hospital as well as Standards of Practice for specialty area. Exercise independent judgment in the assessment of patient's needs, and identifies clinical priorities throughout the Hospital. Responds appropriately to resolving issues that impact patient care. Assures fiscal compliance related to patient billing and coding. Correctly bill patients for services and accurately document to support charges. Competes mandatory educational requirements in a timely manner. Assists Professional Development Coordinator/Educators in planning and presenting unit-based in-services. Responds to patient requests and proactively addresses patient needs using a multi and interdisciplinary approach. Works with the unit team to address patient satisfaction scores and works with unit leadership to develop and implement action plans.
