FTE: 0.600000 Shift: Shift 3, every 3rd weekend Weekend Program: 2 12-hour shifts: 1900-0700 Saturday and Sunday. This position will float between Froedtert Menomonee Falls and Froedtert West Bend Hospital. Job Summary: The Registered Nurse is a practitioner who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients. This individual demonstrates competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population in the acute care setting. The Registered Nurse job description has incorporated essential functions which are adapted from the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 4th Edition (2021). The Registered Nurse will navigate within acute care units inside their assigned entity. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of acute care patient population is required. Upon hire any non-BSN nurse with less than one year of licensed registered nurse experience will be required to enroll in a BSN (or higher nursing degree) program. Acceptance into a program is expected within 15 months of hire and the degree program must be completed within 5 years of enrollment, or 6 years if program is MSN, DNP or PhD in Nursing. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred. Job Summary: The Staff RN - Ambulatory Services works collaboratively as an active member of the interprofessional team to provide therapeutic patient and family centered care. The Staff RN - Ambulatory Services systematically and continuously collects and assesses data related to patient health status to develop, execute and evaluate the plan of care. The Staff RN - Ambulatory Services utilizes evidence to drive clinical decisions and practice related to individual and population health.
