Summary Sign on bonus available to qualified candidates The ED/SSU RN functions primarily in direct patient care, and demonstrates “competent” clinical practice with a variety of patients. The RN in the ED/SSU works as part of a team with a common goal of offering patient centered, timely care, in a safe and friendly environment. This position requires the ability to communicate with EMS on a daily basis. The RN must be able to relay appropriate orders from the physician for pre-hospital care in a friendly and respectful manner. Summary The major goal of the nurse is to provide quality nursing care to patients throughout Imaging Services. Provides direct patient care by providing pre/post and intra-procedural care for minimally invasive procedures in: Diagnostic Radiology, CT Scanning, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, Mammography, and respiratory department. This position performs a variety of integrated functions, intuitively, using the nursing process of assessing and identifying needs, planning care, implementing appropriate intervention, documenting, and evaluating outcome while applying a broad nursing knowledge in a caring, concerned manner.
