Review LVN schedule make sure all orders for medications are current and patients are within parameters. Set-up rooms for procedures and make sure all supplies available. Enter info from existing records for patients who transfer care to UCSF into APeX chart. Review State Genetic Testing results and record them in APeX. Plan labs needed for visit. Set up GBS including requisitions. Room patient – gather info on reason for visit Complete APeX psycho-social assessment and medication review for the new OB patients. Act as a OB Team CPSP program lead for patients, including completing necessary assignments. Take BP and weight. Obtain urine samples for patients who require it Take all specimens and pair them up with completed requisition forms. Note in specimen log what was sent and initial. Clean rooms and equipment per infection control procedures. Use APeX board and DOT system to track patient in office. Empty used instruments buckets after each patient and hand-wash. Wrap and tag instruments. Check refrigerator and e-meds daily and record in log. Restock rooms of items used or depleted. Keep a running log of items that need to be reordered. Check all temp logs.
