Job Title/Position: Professional Hospice Consultant RN License Required! Reports To: Administrator Job Description Summary Responsible for aspects of organization marketing including, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources, responding to customer requests and concerns, organizing sales and marketing events in the community, representing the organization at various community events. Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities Conducts daily marketing activities including collaborating with the Administrator in establishment and implementation of marketing initiatives. Monitors allocation of resources according to budgetary limitations. Continuously conducts market assessments and develops a comprehensive marketing plan designed to meet budgetary volume projections. Contributes to organizations strategic planning including identifying opportunities for additional or improved services to address customer needs. Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of CONTINUUM CARE HOSPICE, LLC markets including government agencies, major payer groups, key referral sources, and competitor’s market positioning. Maintains comprehensive working knowledge in the field of marketing and shares information with appropriate organization personnel. Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of community resources and assists customers in accessing community resources should services not be provided by CONTINUUM CARE HOSPICE, LLC. Monitors and reports cost effectiveness of marketing efforts. Position Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Demonstrates good communications skills, negotiation skills, and public relations skills. Assesses and evaluates patient’s status by: A. Writing and initiating plan of care B. Regularly re-evaluating patient and family/caregiver needs C. Participating in revising the plan of care as necessary 4. Initiates the plan of care and makes necessary revisions as patient status and needs change. 5. Uses health assessment data to determine nursing diagnosis. 6. Develops a care plan that establishes goals, based on nursing diagnosis and incorporates palliative nursing actions. Includes the patient and the family in the planning process. 7. Initiates appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures. Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician in the physician’s plan of care. 8. Counsels the patient and family in meeting nursing and related needs. 9.
