Position Summary Ensures the workflow of the clinical area and directs clinical staff according to provide excellent patient care with direction from Charge RN or Physicians. Maybe responsible to maintains appropriate logs and licensing for laboratory, CLIA, vaccines and medication under regulatory guidelines. Responsible for storage and inventory of all clinical supplies. Maintains a close working relationship with physicians, Medical Director and Management. Provides direct patient care in a courteous, caring and respective manner. Documents accurately in EMR system according to licensure and VMG policy and procedures. Education Completion of formal coursework that is equivalent to a minimum of an associate's degree in nursing. Combination of equivalent years of relevant work experience and some formal education may be considered. Experience Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinic or outpatient setting. Also, demonstrated understanding of the operations in a medical practice environment preferred. Skills Current and valid New Jersey RN. Current and valid BCLS certification required. Ability to use effective critical thinking skills (analytical, clinical reasoning, decision-making, problem-solving, time management, etc.). Outstanding interpersonal, service excellence behavior and customer service skills required. Strong orientation towards the provisions of high quality, cost effective and comprehensive medical care. Description The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and significant others. Responsibilities Patient Care 1.
