Completes education record and/or transfer record in EMR. Demonstrates effectiveness in coordinating care, identifying needs and making appropriate referrals. Demonstrate clinical competence in caring for patients and provides care according to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of practice. Administer medications and IV therapies accurately in a safe and effective manner, monitors effect identifies and reports any adverse effects. Educates patients on new medications, provides info on reason for med and adverse effects to watch for. Accurately accounts for narcotics as per procedures and documents all medications administered. Recognizes errors and adverse reactions and reports them in a timely manner. Functions according to the State Nurse Practice Act and delivers care that is consistent with the policies, procedures and standards of Conemaugh Nason Medical Center. Provides for patient safety and security needs by maintaining a clean and safe environment and placing call bell within patients reach at all times. What we're looking for Applicants should be graduates of an RN program and hold a current nurse's license in the state of Pennsylvania or a current multistate license (MSL) from compact member states/territories.
