We are seeking a driven and dedicated Director of Nursing, RN to oversee 24-hour skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. We are committed to delivering personalized, professional, and expert level care at our post-acute facility. We offer a wide range of services to best offer our patients the highest quality care possible. The Director of Nursing will work under the direction of a Licensed Administrator and be responsible to complete all duties rendered in the job description. These duties include: Implement and monitor Facility Policies and Procedures to ensure that the facility is in compliance with all Federal and State Minimum Standards as they apply to nursing and medical services. Participate in all resident referrals and admission making determinations for Medicare Part A coverage and discontinuation based on regulation. Supervise all documentation of services provided to residents. Supervise Medical Consultants, such as, but not limited to, Pharmacy, Dietitian, Podiatrist, Medical Records, etc., and ensure recommendations are communicated and documented appropriately. Monitor and control all nursing-related supplies, equipment, and ancillary charges. Serve on various committees as appointed by the Administrator. Supervise infection control and antibiotic stewardship program. Interview, hire, train and supervise all employees under your supervision and review staff competency in dealing with medical issues and provide training on a regular and as needed basis. Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator.
