Provides and ensures advanced practice nursing care for patients in accordance with current State and Federal rules and regulations for Nurse Practitioner scope of practice and national standards of care, which includes, medical assessments and other assessment and interventions as warranted, as needed. Participates in developing and delivering continuing education programs for clinical staff regarding newly established/revised program specific clinical protocols for effective patient care services. Educates clinicians to follow best practices in utilization management/care management activities Evaluates staff practice patterns on an individual and team level to identify gaps and improve communication skills and clinical practice.
