Purpose of Position: To provide professional nursing care and support for urgent care center patients receiving treatment and evaluation to all age groups. Purpose of Position: Provide medical services to general surgical patients in the OR, ER, and on in-patient floors during weekdays. Description Perform history and physical examination on general surgical emergency patients upon decision for admission. Ensure adequate medical clearance for general surgical pre-op patients by ordering the necessary consultations and testing. Serve as surgical first assistant to general surgeon doing elective and emergency surgery. Secondary priority will be first assisting for surgical subspecialties such as ENT, Urology, and Gynecology for elective cases will be performed.
