The position provides assistance to residents in the Assisted Living and/or Memory Care Program(s) with their activities of daily living, implementation of resident plans of care, documentation of nursing services and enabling residents to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity. Caregiver Job Duties & Qualifications Job Duties As a Charis Hearts Caregiver, you will provide Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) as outlined in the Personal Support Plan. Responsibilities may include: Personal Care Assistance: Bathing, dressing, assistance with walking, hygiene, grooming, and help with eating. Meal Preparation & Household Tasks: Cooking meals, washing dishes, laundry, and general housekeeping. Home Maintenance & Cleaning: Dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning windows, making the bed, emptying garbage, and sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas. Companionship & Support: Engaging with clients to enhance their emotional well-being. Qualifications To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old. Must have valid State ID/ Drivers License. Strong communication skills – both oral and written. Reliable transportation to and from client locations. Compassionate and caring nature with a genuine desire to help others.
