Responsibilities Nursing is the protection, promotion, and optimization of health and abilities, prevention of illness and injury, alleviation of suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response, and advocacy in the care of individuals, families, communities, and populations (ANA, 2010). The compensation range for the role is $56.58 - $62.71 hourly Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. When determining a team member’s compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity). Qualifications Licensure: Active New York State Nursing License in good standing Education: Baccalaureate (preferred), Master’s, or Doctorate Degree in Nursing from an Accredited School of Nursing. Certification: American Nurses Association endorsed Certifications or Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses Certification Preferred (*Based on Certification specialty hours of work requirement). Department Required Experience Preferred Experience Recommended Training Mandatory Training Critical Care Float Pool (6028) RN CC Float 1-ICU/ED/PCU RN CC Float 2-ICU/PCU RN CC Float 3-ED/Main Incumbents previously trained within the ICU’s, PCU, CDA 2 West, ED will continue to float) *Patient population (CTSD patients / day 3 and beyond, CTICU – will not be assigned to CC Floats / will only be assigned to the unit as supportive assignment) 1-year Critical Care or SDU experience or upon successful completion of the GHMC ICU Fellowship program. See- Critical Care float Fellowship Program ACLS PALS within 6 months of hire/transfer; MERT Training within 6 months of hire or transfer CRRT Training within 1 year of hire or transfer TNCC required within 1 year for all new hires and transfers; *Staff will be required to complete a CRRT Refresher every two years. ECCO & ENA Modules required within 9 months or must demonstrate competency Hospital Crisis Intervention Training Course upon hire or transfer and annually thereafter.
