Job Overview The Clinical Manager oversees the daily operations of a direct patient care department, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and quality standards. Resolves escalated, complex, or sensitive patient/family issues and operational concerns, making inclusive, data-informed decisions that address root causes. Interprets and enforces quality and safety standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and promote best practices. Leads and supports a culture of clinical inquiry by mentoring team members on practice-based research and quality improvement projects. Represents the department in senior leadership and interdepartmental meetings, fostering collaboration across teams and participating in organizational committees. Minimum Qualifications Degrees Bachelor of Science in Nursing Master of Science in Nursing Area of Study or Master’s in health related field Experience Minimum Experience Required:Three (3) years of clinical experience and two years of nursing leadership experience in supervision, leading clinical practice projects, serving as a charge nurse or house supervisor, and/or precepting.
