JOB PURPOSE: Under the supervision of clinic leadership: clinic manager, MA Supervisor, provides health care in clinic and related work as assigned. The primary goal of the Elk Ridge Community Health Medical Assistant is to support Elk Ridge’s Mission of providing comprehensive, quality health care that is affordable and accessible to all who may have healthcare needs, by successfully performing the primary essential functions. Job Functions: Assists clinic health care providers in providing direct patient care, by rooming patients, obtaining vitals, gathering patient history and reason for seeking care. Maintains strict confidentiality. Assists with Telehealth appointments. This duty is performed daily. Assists with registration of clinic patients and completes EHR data entry in patient's charts.
