Position Overview The Scrub Technician plays a critical role in supporting vascular surgeons and the clinical team during complex endovascular and interventional procedures. Working in our Office-Based Laboratory (OBL), the Scrub Tech assists with procedures such as angiograms, venograms, prostate artery embolization (PAE), genicular artery embolization (GAE), and other minimally invasive vascular interventions. This position ensures the sterile field is properly maintained, all instruments are prepared and accounted for, and that the surgical team is supported in achieving safe and efficient case flow. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical field for all vascular and interventional procedures. Anticipate surgeon needs and provide appropriate instruments and supplies throughout the case. Assist with the setup and breakdown of procedure rooms, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and properly functioning. Handle surgical instruments and devices in accordance with aseptic technique. Monitor and maintain the integrity of sterile supplies and report any issues immediately. Assist in transferring patients to and from the procedure table as directed. Support intraoperative imaging procedures, including manipulation of C-arm, guidewires, and catheters under physician supervision. Maintain accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and sharps before, during, and after each case. Assist with stocking, inventory control, and reprocessing of surgical instruments and equipment. Uphold all infection control, OSHA, and facility safety protocols. Collaborate with nursing and physician teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and workflow efficiency. Qualifications Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification (recommended but not required). Minimum 2 years of scrub experience , preferably in vascular, interventional radiology, cath lab, or related procedural settings. Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation for endovascular procedures. Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary surgical environment. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred. Position Overview The Full-Time Dedicated Caregiver role is designed for caregivers seeking consistent hours, benefits, and a stable case structure. This position requires reliability, flexibility, and strong communication. Our clients depend on continuity of care, and this role is essential to maintaining their safety, independence, and quality of life. Hours & Scheduling Expectations • Commitment to 30–40 verified hours per week • Full-time status is dependent on maintaining required weekly hours • Failure to maintain full-time hours may result in: Change to PRN status Reduction to base hourly rate Loss of benefits Compensation & Perks • $17.00 per hour • Weekly pay options with PayActiv access • Mileage reimbursement • Paid travel time when scheduled drive time between patients is less than 59 minutes (per system-calculated drive time) • Monthly appreciation raffles and bonuses • Tenure-based raises and bonuses • $30/month unlimited phone plan (T-Mobile) • Referral bonuses for caregivers and clients Benefits (Eligible First of the Month Following Hire Date) • Health, dental, vision, and life insurance • Short-term disability • Flexible Spending Account (FSA) • 401(k) retirement plan • Holiday pay where applicable Travel & Case Requirements • Willingness to drive up to 25 miles one way between patients • Must accept assigned cases • Any scheduling or household restrictions must be disclosed at time of hire • Must be open to: Pets in the home Smoking environments Varied care levels based on training and clinical approval Attendance, Communication & Reliability Reliable attendance is a condition of employment for this role. • Assigned visits must be accepted • Any visit changes must be communicated with the office • If a patient is not home, cancels, or refuses care: You must call the office before leaving the home • No call / no show is not permitted and will result in immediate change to PRN status • Call-outs should be limited to emergencies or illness and communicated as early as possible • Repeated unexcused absences may result in termination Job Responsibilities • Personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, toileting) • Light housekeeping and meal preparation • Medication reminders • Companionship and emotional support • Promote dignity, independence, and quality of life Minimum Requirements • CPR certification (assistance available if needed) • TB test within the past 12 months (assistance available) • Level 2 AHCA Background Screening ( https://info.flclearinghouse.com ) Why Etairos Health?
