Position Overview for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care to our residents. In this role, you will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of our residents, administer medications, and assist with daily activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Key Responsibilities as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Patient Care: Deliver nursing care in accordance with residents' care plans and assist with daily living activities. Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects. Health Monitoring: Assess and document residents’ health status, reporting any changes to the nursing team. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to coordinate resident care. Education: Provide education and support to residents and families regarding health management and wellness. Desired Characteristics as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Compassionate and empathetic, with a genuine desire to enhance the quality of life for seniors. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proactive problem-solver who can adapt to changing situations. Team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to collaboration. Experience and Education Requirements: Valid (LPN) license in the state of New Jersey. Previous experience in a nursing role, preferably in assisted living or a similar setting. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent organizational abilities.
