Department Details Come join our fast paced Foot and Ankle Clinic as a Certified Medical Assistant or as an LPN. Within our clinic we see on average 110 patients per day and offer procedures varying from ingrown toenails to total joint replacements. We serve a wide variety of patients including children, athletes, diabetics with wound care, post operative, and more. Our CMAs are paired with a provider and another member of the nursing team to work together serving patients in this learning environment. Primary duties will include rooming patients and obtaining vitals, ensuring patient rooms are stocked and cleaned, and assisting the providers as needed. National Medical Assistant Certification and registration as an MAIII through the ND Board of Nursing are required for this role. Our nurses are paired with a provider and a PCT to work together to serve the patients in this learning environment. Primary duties will include: rooming patients and obtaining vitals ensuring patient rooms are stocked and cleaned assisting the providers as needed Schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm located at the South University Hospital. This position has the capacity to work either 32 hours or 40 hours per week. Job Summary We’re seeking a caring, responsible, and empathetic Medical Assistant (MA/CMA) who will be involved in assisting with patient care for all ages in an ambulatory setting. The Medical Assistant will be an advocate for the patient’s needs by collaborating with both the patient and their care team to ensure that the patient is comfortable throughout their healthcare journey at Sanford. Job Summary The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for patients of all ages.
