HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT Your Role: Functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. Provides patient care collaboratively with the RN. Displays respect for the patient’s rights, dignity, values, confidentiality and expressed needs. Is adaptable, using evidenced based practice and information technologies while maintaining focus on providing comfort, relieving pain and alleviating anxiety. Performs tasks are in compliance with department and policies and procedures, and within educational preparation as well as the Florida Nurse Practice Act. Responsibilities include : Delivery of patient care to assigned patients, provides care for clients as ordered including IV infusions, infusion pumps, and tube feedings under the supervision of a Registered Nurse Identifies, implements, and maintains appropriate teaching plans for patient and caregivers under direction of a Registered Nurse Follows plan of care and collaborates with Registered Nurse regarding patient response to treatment and change in status Utilizes nursing knowledge in the administration of medication and evaluation of effectiveness when applicable. Home Health Field LPN- Requirements BLS (Basic Life Support) LPN (Registered Nurse) License Driver's License State of Florida (Florida driver's license is required within 30 days of hire) Required Associate's or Diploma Nursing Required 1-year Licensed Practical Nurse Preferred 1 year Home Care This position requires Level II screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, managed by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).
