The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will work on a Per-Diem basis out of Helio Health’s Residential Program. Provide client services for medical issues. Monitors and documents clients’ medical status, signs and symptoms of withdrawal and reports to supervisor or medical director. Provides direct client care of medical assessment, implementation of medical orders, communicable and infectious disease reporting in accordance with the law. Provides and documents medical consultation, assessment, examination, and treatment planning and review consistency with agency policy and requirements Qualifications Must be a licensed practical nurse currently registered by the New York State Education Department. Experience and/or training in the treatment of substance abuse and/or substance dependency preferred. Basic computer skills required. The schedule for this position will be Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday from between the hours of 5:00am - 1:00pm through 6:00am - 2:30pm.
