Documents all pertinent data as required by Medicare, Medicaid, company standards and policies. Completes the required forms upon admission, transfer, and/or discharge. Nurse Unit Manager LPN Skills and Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Strong interpersonal and team development skills. Ability to multi-task and remain calm under stress. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to organize and prioritize work and delegate to others. Understands and follows infection control standards, policies and procedures. Must be able to adapt to a flexible work schedule and occasional overnight travel. Demonstrate basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications. Nurse Unit Manager LPN Education and Experience: Current CPR Certification required. Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Licensed Practical Nurse. At least 2 years of supervisory experience preferred. Long-Term care and MDS experience preferred. Physical Requirements: Walking, reaching, bending, lifting, extended sitting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, all with or without the aid of mechanical devices is required.
