Job Description The Medical Coordinator is responsible for delivering high quality medical care and influencing positive outcomes for patients experiencing homelessness in the recuperative care setting. We have many schedules available for this role, including weekends and nights. The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience . This position also qualifies for $1.50 swing shift differential and $3 graveyard shift differential. The schedule for this position is Thursday - Monday from 7:00am to 3:30pm. Workdays may vary. The incumbent(s) may be requested to perform job related tasks other than those stated in the description. Job Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited practical nurse or vocational nursing program. Has three (3) years nursing experience. Community/home health or medical/surgical experience is preferred. Currently licensed as a licensed practical nurse or licensed vocational nurse in the state. Possess and maintain valid CPR certification. Complies with accepted professional standards and practice. Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization skills. Must possess a valid California Driver’s License with automobile that is in good working order and insured in accordance with the organization requirements. Physical Requirements: The ability to sit occasionally for 1-3 hours. The ability to frequently stand for 3-6 hours. The ability to occasionally drive/ operate foot control for 1-3 hours. The ability to walk intermittently on level and or unlevel surface for less than 1 hour. The ability to intermittently bend or climb for less than 1 hour. The ability to occasionally twist, kneel, crouch and crawl for 1-3 hours. The ability to lift 50 pounds frequently for 3-6 hours. The ability to lift greater than 50 pounds occasionally for 1-3 hours. The ability to carry up to 50 pounds frequently for 3-6 hours. The ability to carry greater than 50 pounds occasionally for 1-3 hours. The ability to push up to 50 pounds frequently for 3-6 hours. The ability to push greater than 50 pounds occasionally for 1-3 hours. The ability to pull up to 50 pounds frequently for 3-6 hours. The ability to pull greater than 50 pounds occasionally for 1-3 hours.
