Resource Management Demonstrates efficiency through the appropriate use of resources or supplies to support timely and effective delivery of patient care. Identifies needs for specific equipment and ensures adequate and properly functioning equipment and supplies are available for patient care. Identify operational needs for units including but not limited to needs related to capital equipment; medical supplies; office supplies; hours of practice; minor equipment; and equipment maintenance. Participate in the new hire process: Shadowing process, selection and oversee specific staff orientation to maintain established standards of care and to ensure competency. Specific professional development and coaching for assigned cohort of staff including quarterly rounding and annual performance appraisals.
