A large Queens facility is actively seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead our Nursing Department. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership and supervisory skills and will work closely with the Administrator and supervisors on the overall success of the facility. The salary and benefits will be very competitive and commensurate with experience. The Director of Nursing will be responsible to: Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Nursing department to ensure the highest degree of quality resident care Ensure that all care being provided is in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and standards Supervise all nursing staff in the facility Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures Oversee nursing employee conduct Requirements: Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of NY Past experience working as a DON/DNS in a Skilled Nursing Facility Strong leadership skills and an ability to manage a team of nursing staff Strong clinical background and knowledge Knowledge of EMR systems Excellent communication skills

Meadow Park Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is actively seeking an RN Supervisor to manage our subacute unit. As an RN Supervisor you will be responsible for: Managing the individualized resident care by promoting and monitoring residents' health through the nursing process. Utilizes clinical resources in implementing patient care and provides rationale for patient care decisions. Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to resolve all residents' problems and needs Providing physical and psychological support to patients and their family members Monitoring residents' conditions and administering medication & treatments Supervising assigned team members. Completes Frequent Observations and the Intake/Outtake Record according to established protocols. Performs related duties, as required.
