Location: Oncology Consultants Pay Range: $80,000.00 - $170,000.00 This APP Position will support the Southwest Oncology Consultants location in Houston, TX as well as our location in Sugarland. Position Summary Assists physician in the care and teaching of patients. Key Performance Areas Assess the physical and psychosocial status of patients by means of interview, health history, physical examination, and diagnostic studies. Write prescriptions for: medication, blood products based upon laboratory results, routine diagnostic and follow-up studies, therapeutic measures, and care post-discharge in accordance with written practice protocols. Based on findings, determine eligibility of patients for entry into clinical trials. Interpret and evaluates findings of studies / tests. Provide on-call coverage and performs hospital rounds as needed. Triage patients to determine urgency of physician evaluation. Previous Experience Minimum 5 years experience as APRN or PA, specifically in Oncology. POSITION SUMMARY: The Hospice Bereavement Manager working collaboratively with the Director of Hospice is responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of a broad range of grief support and grief education programs and materials. Position includes the training and support of volunteers, trainees and Interns for assigned branch offices. This position also supports community relations for bereavement outreach and education.
