Completes history, perform physical examination, review medical records and laboratory reports, interprets diagnostic tests, formulate risk assessment, completes progress notes, and plan for surgery and/or post operative care in conjunction with supervising physician/anesthesiologist, and document in electronic medical record (Epic/UChart) Work as part of the interdisciplinary team to execute these daily plans, and acts as a liaison between Nursing and Surgical services to ensure proper follow-through on all patients Provides education to nursing, patients & family on wound care / drain care or removal / tracheostomy tube care or change / feeding tube care/line care or change as part of the daily post operative care to facilitate transition to home care.
