PRN, Days Shift, 10 hour shifts GENERAL SUMMARY: Corewell Health East – Royal Oak is seeking a dedicated PRN Advanced Practice Provider to join our robust Inpatient Transplant Nephrology Service. Under the general guidance of the medical director, the Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with diseases and adverse health conditions following the written guidelines approved by the department. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Serve as the daytime first point of contact for the WBUH transplant nephrology service. Maintain and update the transplant surgery patient list daily, incorporating overnight events, new consults, and emergency admissions. Perform evaluations and comprehensive chart reviews for complex transplant patients. Prepare and present organized patient summaries and care recommendations during daily attending rounds. Identify, order, and monitor appropriate pharmacologic agents in accordance with clinical guidelines, transplant pharmacist recommendations and patient needs. Order and interpret appropriate imaging and laboratory studies to support clinical decision-making and patient care planning. Participation in daily multidisciplinary rounds with transplant surgery, transplant nephrology, hepatology, pharmacy and nutrition. Provide transplant education and discharge instructions Complete documentation and billing in compliance with hospital standards. Coordinate and discuss patient care with consulting services, ensuring collaborative and comprehensive treatment planning. STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS Education / Training: Master's Degree in Nursing OR a Masters in Physician Assistant studies Work Experience : One (1) year of experience in transplant nephrology or general nephrology as a PA/NP, inpatient experience preferred. Job Summary The Medicine Pulmonary service is a team of advanced practice providers (APPs) that provide care to an array of medically complex patient populations at acuity levels including general care, moderate, and ventilator care, with the largest patient population at the moderate/ventilator care level. The Medicine Pulmonary service cares for several pulmonary population subsets including patients that are waiting for or have received a pulmonary transplant, adult patients with cystic fibrosis, post-operative interventional pulmonary patients, and serves as the primary inpatient service for adult patients requiring chronic invasive and non-invasive ventilation who are admitted for a variety of medical issues. The Medicine Pulmonary team is well established within the institution and is comprised of advanced practice providers that deliver high-quality and evidence-based care under the supervision of a pulmonary critical care attending. Responsibilities* Duties Will Include But Are Not Limited To Perform initial assessments of ventilator/moderate care patients and general care patients. Perform detailed history and physical, formulate initial assessment and plan, and present patient cases and any pertinent data to medical staff. Provide continuing care and discharge management of patients on the service. Appropriately order, collect, and interpret reports from diagnostic lab testing, radiographic procedures, and other clinical studies. Prescribe medications and enter other orders related to patient care. Perform various diagnostic, therapeutic, and procedural clinical interventions, based on privileges such as management of chest tube removals, tracheostomy removal/change. Manage mechanical ventilation, non-invasive ventilation, heated hi-flow nasal canula for chronic and acute on chronic respiratory failure within unit guidelines Manage antibiotics and antifungals Manage hemodynamically stable gastrointestinal bleeding and liver failure patients Manage renal failure patients requiring dialysis Manage immunosuppression and opportunistic infections in transplant patients. Manage chest tubes, including decision to place, administering thrombolytics, placement on suction or water seal or clamp, decision to remove chest tube. Run ACLS codes for cardiac arrest Initiate transplant evaluations for end stage lung and end stage liver patients Assist attending physicians in orientation of new medical trainees to the service, such as resident physicians or medical students; assist in the training of new advanced practice providers to the service; assist in maintaining continuity of care throughout the hospital stay. Communicate appropriately with attending physicians, consultants, and other members of the patient care team in order to coordinate and provide clinical care. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation regarding patient status, evaluations, and treatments. Streamline the patient transfer process between levels of care, including writing discharge orders and summaries and communicating specific patient needs to internal and external care centers or team members, as well as ambulatory care providers as needed. Participate in quality assurance activities including quality improvement projects, peer evaluations and support research initiatives. Assist in the development of patient-specific, facility-based disease management protocols; perform other related duties as required to assure patient safety and satisfaction; and utilize new improvements and/or technologies that relate to job assignments. Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Certification as a Nurse Practitioner recognized by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN). Nurse Midwife/Nurse Practitioner/PA B, OB Gyn - Royal Oak

Job Summary The CNM hired for this position will work variable shifts at Troy Hospital and William Beaumont University Hospital. Shifts are primarily 12 hours and will be assigned in the OB Emergency Department at both hospitals and Labor & Delivery (WBUH only). Shifts will primarily be midnights, other shifts as need, and will include weekends. The Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)-II is an advanced practice nurse who provides full scope midwifery care. The CNM provides care to the patient which is delivered during the antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum periods. The CNM also provides care to the gynecologic patient in the clinic/office setting. High risk patients are cared for in consultation and collaboration with the medical team. The practice setting for the CNM-II will be in the Outpatient Clinic, contractually with Obstetrician's offices, the Natural Birth Center, the Family Birth Center Triage and LDRs and the Post Partum unit with the focus on enhancement of clinical care, patient satisfaction, and safety. Clinical care may include first assisting in OB surgical cases. Location: Corewell Health East – Royal Oak (primary), Dearborn, Troy, Grosse Pointe Schedule: Full-time, days; 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM; rotating shifts Monday–Friday; no holidays GENERAL SUMMARY: Corewell Health East is seeking an experienced and motivated Advanced Practice Provider to join our Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Service. This role functions primarily as a first assist in the operating room, including participation in complex microsurgical free flap reconstructions, while also providing independent postoperative clinic care for plastic surgery patients. The APP will play an integral role across the continuum of surgical care, including preoperative assessment, intraoperative first assist, and outpatient postoperative follow‑up, working closely with attending surgeons, fellows, residents, and an established nursing team. This position requires a strong foundation in surgical anatomy, the ability to learn and apply microsurgical techniques, and the skills to effectively educate and guide patients through complex, staged reconstructive procedures. Participate in preoperative patient assessment, positioning, and surgical site preparation, including draping. Demonstrate strong knowledge of surgical anatomy and the ability to learn and apply microsurgical techniques. Assist with intraoperative clinical decision-making in collaboration with the attending surgeon. Enter and manage postoperative surgical orders in accordance with established protocols. Provide independent postoperative clinic care for reconstructive plastic surgery patients, including breast reconstruction and staged procedures. Perform clinic-based procedural skills including tissue expander management, wound vac management, wound assessment, and drain management. Monitor postoperative recovery, identify complications, and coordinate follow-up care. Effectively communicate complex, staged reconstructive plans to patients and caregivers throughout the continuum of care. Collaborate with an established RN team to manage the patient inbasket and provide clinical guidance to patients contacting the clinic. Order and interpret appropriate laboratory and imaging studies related to postoperative and outpatient care. Prescribe and monitor pharmacologic therapies in alignment with clinical guidelines. Complete documentation and billing accurately and in compliance with organizational standards. STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS Education / Training: Master's Degree in Nursing OR a Masters in Physician Assistant studies Work Experience : One (1) year of demonstrated experience as a PA/NP providing surgical patient care, including first assist experience in the operating room is preferred. Foundational knowledge of surgical anatomy with the ability to apply anatomy in complex operative and postoperative settings. Demonstrated ability to learn new procedural and clinical skills in a high‑acuity surgical environment. Ability to work with minimal supervision as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary surgical team. Certification, Licensure, Registration : State of Michigan Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant license required If NP, RNFA is required.
