This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with leading electrophysiologists in a high-volume, innovative cardiovascular program. The APP will play a key role in delivering comprehensive care to patients with complex cardiac rhythm disorders in both outpatient clinic and inpatient settings. Responsibilities Evaluate and manage patients with cardiac arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and bradyarrhythmias Conduct pre- and post-procedure assessments for EP studies, ablations, and device implants (pacemakers, ICDs, loop recorders) Provide longitudinal outpatient management of EP patients in the cardiology clinic Collaborate closely with electrophysiologists, cardiologists, and multidisciplinary teams Interpret diagnostic testing including ECGs, Holter monitors, and device interrogations Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications Participate in inpatient rounding and consults as needed Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice Schedule M-F, 8am - 5pm Weeknight and weekend call Benefits OSF HealthCare offers a comprehensive Compensation and Total Rewards Package which includes: Generous paid time off! This is an Hourly position. Overview POSITION SUMMARY: The Advanced Practice Nurse will be responsible for: providing high quality patient care to the patients of OSF OnCall Urgent Care. Maintaining the consistency and quality of all services provided. Maintaining full and current patient medical records, including reports of all examinations, procedures, and other services performed by the provider or other support staff. Exercising diligence in assisting the OSF CEO in keeping costs of the practice to a minimum while maintaining a high level of quality care for patients. Providing a truly personalized, patient-centric experience to all patients of OSF OnCall Urgent Care. This position requires floating to various facilities. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement. May be required to float between clinics as needed. Licenses/ Certifications: Physician Assistant License BLS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Experience as an APN Other requirements/information: May be required to float between clinics as needed.
