Prepare s patients for routine physical examinations and assist the physician during examinations. An LPN can function in the role of Surgical Tech if position open is in the operating room. Key Responsibilities Interview patients to gather their medical history and measure vital signs, weight, and height. Accurately record medical history, vital statistics, and test results in electronic medical records. Collect and prepare blood, tissue, or other specimens for lab testing with proper labeling.
