Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Recovery Services RN, we utilize a team approach for both patient care and the onboarding of new team members. Surgery types performed here include Open Heart, Vascular, General, Orthopedic, Breast, ENT, GYN, and Urologic surgeries. Patient acuity ranges from simple outpatient procedures to complex surgeries for patients with multiple health issues. We provide care and services to a large regional area, including all of Kitsap County and extending as far north as Port Townsend and Port Angeles along the Straits of Juan de Fuca. Our Perioperative area averages 17 operating rooms, supported by three Pre-op units and three PACU Phase 1 and Phase 2 units. Every day, the Pre-op/PACU RN is responsible for providing perianesthesia nursing care to all patient populations undergoing surgical procedures.
