Responsibilities The primary purpose of the Staff Nurse (Per Diem) position is to work on an as needed basis and be accountable for the care activities, safety and goal achievements of assigned patients through assessing, diagnosing, planning and intervening in actual or potential health problems and evaluating patient’s response to the care.
