Patient Care Type: The Family Birth Center cares for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum patients and their newborn babies. The staff consists of RNs and PCAs who deliver patient care. The area is supported by a variety of resource persons including health unit coordinators, perinatal education coordinators, nursing education specialists, clinical nurse specialists, social workers, and lactation consultants.
