Minimum of 12 months of nursing experience, including at least 3 months in hemodialysis; 18 months of nursing experience and 6 months in dialysis preferred. Critical care experience (ICU/CCU) is preferred but not required. Home dialysis experience preferred but not required. Must meet all state/licensing requirements. Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and judgment to care for dialysis patients in an acute care setting. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Current CPR certification. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
