Supportive Staffing Ratios Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Supervision: Supervise LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff to ensure resident care meets standards and follows care plans. Act as the nurse-in-charge during assigned shifts, resolving clinical and staffing issues as needed. Monitor staff performance and provide guidance, coaching, and support. Assist with new staff orientation and ongoing training and development. Conduct shift hand-off reports and ensure continuity of care. Assist with scheduling and ensure appropriate staffing levels. Clinical Oversight: Perform and oversee comprehensive resident assessments and monitor for changes in condition. Administer and supervise administration of medications, treatments, and procedures. Communicate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members regarding resident care. Ensure timely and accurate documentation in medical records. Respond to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions. Support residents and families in understanding care plans and addressing concerns. Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure nursing practices are in compliance with state and federal regulations, facility policies, and professional standards. Participate in audits, surveys, and quality improvement initiatives. Maintain infection control and safety protocols throughout the facility. Monitor and report incidents or changes in resident conditions per facility policy. Qualifications: Current RN license in the state of employment, in good standing Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred) Minimum 2 years of RN experience in long-term care or similar setting Supervisory or charge nurse experience required Current CPR/BLS certification (ACLS preferred, depending on facility) Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills Proficient in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation Knowledge of nursing home regulations and resident rights Schedule: Days 7a-7p, Nights 7p-7a

Prepare for and participate in state surveys, audits, and inspections. Lead Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) efforts. Investigate incidents, accidents, or complaints and implement corrective actions. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nursing home regulations and best practices. Education & Training: Develop and conduct ongoing staff education, in-services, and competency evaluations. Promote professional growth and licensure compliance among nursing staff. Ensure all staff understand and follow infection control and safety protocols. Qualifications: Current RN license in the state of employment, in good standing Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with experience Minimum 3–5 years of nursing leadership experience in long-term care or skilled nursing Must be IP certified Strong knowledge of federal and state nursing home regulations (e.g., OBRA, CMS) Proven ability to manage, lead, and motivate clinical teams Exceptional organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and care documentation systems Current CPR/BLS certification

The Registered Nurse Cardiology is responsible for providing individual patient care based on the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assesses and monitors patient during procedures including but not limited to: TEE, Pharmacologic echo, stress testing and other diagnostic testing as assigned Documents adequately on pertinent data sheets Performs venipuncture as required for testing Assists physicians with orders and physical assessment of patients and documents assessments Administers medications for procedures and documents appropriately Accepts responsibility of keeping record of controlled substance during procedure and follows protocol regarding storage of such substances. Maintains all crash carts. Accepts responsibility for providing safe, appropriate and ongoing quality patient care for patients experiencing procedures Provides follow-up telephone calls post procedure for ongoing quality improvement and customer service. Documents and reports any unusual findings to the manager Assists with performing pacemaker teachings, transtelephonic pacemaker analysis and event recorders, and reports abnormal findings to physicians Functions as a professional role model and resource person, providing guidance to co-workers Maintains equipment in good working condition and secures repairs at the direction of the manager PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS: Considerable standing/walking. Frequent use of hands. Frequent use of upper extremities to reposition patients, transport patients, and lifting supplies up to 25 lbs. Occasionally stoops, bends and reaches above shoulder level. Touching as it relates to feeling, hearing as it relates to normal conversation, high and low frequencies. Seeing as it relates to general, near, far, color, and peripheral vision. Also depth perception and visual monotony. EDUCATION: Graduate of professional nursing program. Registered Nurse with current license to practice in the State of New Jersey or Pennsylvania based on work location. ACLS Certified. TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Three years of Critical Care experience, cardiac background necessary. Ability to monitor and administer IV medications.
