Overview The obstetric unit in Women’s & Infants’ Services is comprised of 16 LDRP (labor/delivery/recovery/postpartum) rooms and an additional 8 post-partum or general care rooms. Overview The Short Stay Outpatient Unit (SSOU) is a fast paced environment where multidisciplinary services are provided for patients needing a vast variety of treatments. Overview 3 North is an 18 bed-unit in which the Registered Nurse (RN) provides care for a wide variety of patients including heart failure, acute myocardial infarction (AMI), and stable post interventional cardiology procedure patients. The RN cares for post vascular surgery patients as well as those requiring non-invasive ventilators, antiarrhythmic titrated drips as well as insulin drips. The RN works closely with all of Conway Regional’s Cardiologists. The RN commitment is to provide high quality patient care, teamwork, and empower staff. The RN will utilize the nursing process in the provision of care and will practice within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Arkansas and the policies, procedures and standards of the Health System. The RN will demonstrate a commitment to teamwork through effective collaboration efforts. RN- Intensive Care Unit

Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) will assume responsibility and accountability for the adult and geriatric patients undergoing continuous monitoring for cardiac, post-surgical, respiratory, and/or psychiatric diagnoses. The CCU RN will often be active participants in bedside procedures with physicians. He/She will be responsible for certain specialty equipment and procedures such as managing arterial lines, ventilators, hypothermia protocol, and performing peritoneal dialysis. As a CCU RN, he/she will be part of the Rapid Response Team and will assist hospital staff in assessing, treating and transferring (if needed) deteriorating patients to the appropriate unit. He/She will provide appropriate care and comfort needs for the well-being of the patients by assessing, administering medications as ordered and educating patients and family members about active treatment plans and goals.
