Responsibilities NURSE MANAGER, BEHAVIORAL HEALTH Horizon Health Corporation is seeking a Nurse Manager to work on the inpatient psychiatric unit at the Northport Medical Center in Bay Minette, AL. The Nurse Manager plans, implements, and evaluates delivery of overall nursing care to patients. Overview Our Medical Intensive Care Unit-3 (MICU-3) is a 16-bed unit. Our environment is upbeat, challenging, and embraces a strong team collaboration with nurses, Intensivists, and multiple ancillary departments – demonstrated daily by our multidisciplinary rounds. We care for critically ill adult patients who are being treated for Acute Respiratory Failure, Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS), Sepsis, Gastrointestinal Bleeds, Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA), Hypertensive Crisis, Acute/Chronic Renal Failure, and post-Cardiac Arrest requiring Targeted Temperature Management.
