Performing clinical procedures such as port flushes, dressing changes, injections, and catheterizations. Assessing patients in person and by phone for side effects, toxicities, emergencies, and overall well-being. Supporting physicians with diagnostic procedures and reporting thorough nursing assessments. Preparing daily treatment schedules and ensuring readiness of teaching materials and clinic resources. Maintaining a clean, organized treatment environment and delegating tasks appropriately. Responding calmly to emergencies and operating necessary equipment. Triaging patient calls and collaborating with team nurses to provide timely support. Traveling to satellite clinics 1–2 days per week to extend care across our network. Maintaining professional relationships with hospitals, pharmacies, and community partners. Staying current with education and obtaining OCN certification within 3 years. Upholding HIPAA and safety standards in all aspects of care. Count controlled substances and implement clinical and technical aspects of care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. Document nursing encounters using the SOAP form of charting as required by policy and attend mandatory staff meetings and training. Communicate information to nursing staff, physician, health care unit supervisory personnel or other staff as necessary. Additional Details Looking for a candidate who is able to work days or nights along with weekends. Qualifications & Requirements Education Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Experience Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience Licenses/Certifications Have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment.
