Minimum requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with ANCC or AANP certification or physician assistant program. Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or PA program. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situation. CPR and ACLS certified and must maintain certification during employment. NIH Stroke Scale certification obtained within 3 months of employment commencement. Preferable characteristics: Previous critical care experience (ie. ICU or Emergency Department). Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) Primary Care Hybrid (In-person and Remote) Clinton Street & Windsor

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced (2-3+ years) Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join two busy, well-established outpatient Family Medicine practices serving both pediatric and adult patients. This is a full-time hybrid opportunity with two days per week providing patient-facing care in clinic and three days per week working remotely. Remote responsibilities will include telehealth visits and in-basket coverage as needed. This position is 100% outpatient and offers outstanding clinical and administrative support within a collaborative primary care environment. Qualified candidates must be board certified, eligible for licensure in the State of New York, and have prior experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family medicine, primary care, pediatrics, internal medicine, or a related outpatient setting. This opportunity is not open to Physician Assistants or new graduate applicants. The practice is a high functioning practice performing 1,200 + cases/year with excellent hospital support and a wide referral network spanning a 120 mile radius. Primary Department, Division, or Unit: UHS Neurosurgery Annual Compensation Range: $143,100 - $167,000 ----- Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Neurosurgery or Spine Surgery for this new role open due to department growth. This position provides health care services to patients under the direction and responsibility of a physician. Examines patient, performs comprehensive physical examination, and compiles patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination. Administers and orders diagnostic test and interprets the test results for deviations from normal. Performs therapeutic procedures, such as injections, suturing and wound care, and managing infection. Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care. Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance. Preference for previous Neurosurgery or Spine Surgery experience.
